Get ready for December 2nd,2024 at New Morning Paris for the premiere of Altered States, a groundbreaking collaboration between Jowee Omicil and the Brooklyn Music School.
This project pushes the boundaries of jazz, blending French and American traditions to create a transatlantic musical experience that celebrates spontaneity, openness, and authenticity. Altered States challenges the perception of Free Jazz as inaccessible, offering a liberating approach to composition and performance, while fostering inclusivity within the jazz community.
