Born in Montreal to Haitian parents, Jowee draws on his rich cultural heritage and the spiritual traditions of Haiti and his father’s teaching to create a powerful space for personal healing and growth.

Jowee’s philosophy of non-resistance and continuous exploration challenges participants to reconnect with their inner-self, mind, body, and soul. What’s Included:

  • Transfers: Transfer from Stone Town to Jambiani and Jambiani to airport

  • International Flights: Flights to and from Zanzibar.

  • Arrival Transportation from the airport or harbor to the hotel in Stone Town: Expect to pay $25 from the airport, while the harbor is within walking distance.

  • Travel Insurance and Health Insurance

  • Visa: A visa (approx. 50 USD) is required and not included in the package. We do not handle visa applications, but detailed guidelines will be provided after booking to assist with the process.

  • Meals: All other meals that are not mentioned in “What's included” section

  • Drinks 

  • Local Transfers: All other travels that art not mentioned in the “What’s included” section

  • Personal Expenses: Such as souvenirs or any additional purchases.

FAQ

How do I reserve my spot?

A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to secure your spot at the BasH! ReTreaT. The remaining balance is due by XX, 2025.​

Is there a maximum number of participants?

Hurry and tell your friends—there's a maximum of 21 participants!

Do I need any vaccinations to travel to Tanzania?

Tanzania may require a Yellow Fever vaccination if arriving from certain countries. If traveling from the EU, it is generally not necessary. Check with your local health authorities for the latest travel health guidelines. Malaria prophylaxis is not needed; Zanzibar is considered malaria-free.

Can I bring a child and my partner on the trip?

Yes, you can bring your partner and child. Please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help with the arrangements.

What transfers are included in the BasH! ReTreaT package?

The package includes transfers from Stone Town to Jambiani and from Jambiani to the airport at the end of your stay. We will provide details for a shuttle service upon your arrival in Zanzibar, with an approximate cost of $20.

What should I know about payment?

Check our Terms & Conditions for payment details. After booking, you'll receive payment instructions, including a bank account or credit card link. No charges are made during checkout.

Do I need a visa to travel to Tanzania?

Yes, most travelers require a visa to enter Tanzania. The visa fee is approximately $50 USD and is not included in the ReTreaT package. We provide information and guidance for the application process. Please use the official immigration website for more information:

What should I bring?

No instruments are required, but feel free to bring one if you play! The BasH! Experience welcomes everyone, whether you're an artist, a creative spirit, or someone seeking transformation. The BasH! ReTreaT does not supply instruments.

Will there be Wi-Fi available at the accommodations?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available at all accommodations. However, due to the island's infrastructure, we cannot guarantee full access. If you need reliable internet, we can help you obtain a local SIM card.

Privacy and Respect Policy During the 4-Day ReTreaT with Jowee Omicil

To ensure a safe environment, we prioritize privacy, discretion, and respect for all participants. Photographing and video recording will not be permitted during the retreat. Designated moments will be set aside for a to capture special moments, and those images will be shared with participants afterward.

How can I receive the Paradise Discount?

🌴 Participants who pay the full amount at the time of booking, will receive a Paradise Discount*.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

Yes, we highly recommend purchasing both travel health insurance and travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances and safeguard your trip against any changes or cancellations.

Are there age requirements to book the retreat?

Participants must be 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or guardian.

What does the festival ticket include?

Who is organizing the BasH! Retreat?

The BasH! ReTreaT is organized by Delicious Tunes in collaboration with Jowee Omicil. We coordinate the  ReTreaT activities and serve as intermediaries for accommodations, festival tickets, and excursions. Strong connections in Zanzibar enable us to provide seamless planning and exceptional experiences.
